On Sunday night two of the biggest teams in Italy go head to head in what will be the game of the weekend in Serie A as Juventus host Roma in the Juventus Stadium. Juventus after a terrible start to the season have now won ten games in a row and look almost unstoppable as they have closed the gap on the teams above them and now sit in second place in the league just two point behind leaders Napoli. Dybala has settled into his role as the main man in Juve replacing Carlos Tevez was never going to be easy but Dybala has now netted double figures and looks dangerous in every game that Juve play. In addition Zaza and Mandzukic have been excellent foils for Dybala up front and Paul Pogba has dominated the midfield for Juventus with Sami Kheidera also finding his feet in recent months. Juventus are hot right now and it's tough to see anyone beating them at the moment.
Of course if there is anyone that could beat them then Roma are probably that team. As regard talent there is not much between the sides Roma have Dzeko, Salah, Pjanic and Gervinho along with Ross and Szezny and of course the brilliant Francesco Totti still plays a part although mostly comign from the bench these days. The return of Spalletti will mean a more attacking line up that could see more use being made of the energetic Nainggloan. Roma are the ultimate jekyl and hyde team and no one in the league lifts their game better than Roma although this is a big ask.
This is one of those games that I hate trying to call. For all the world it looks like Juve should take this and do it comfortably but when a team has players like Pjanic, Dzeko, Salah and Gervinho they have the pure talent to be able to turn it on and change a game. While Roma have definitely struggled of late their struggles are the same as recent years, not that they lose games but that they draw too many. Roma have drawn their last four away from home and I think that maybe they can stop Juventus winning streak here. Not a huge play but I dont like Juve at 3/5 instead I am going to take the draw for a min bet. This one could have fireworks though as neither team like each other.
