Can Tottenham Hotspur compete for the Premier League title? Spurs are currently in the mix, just five points off the top and with one of the best managers in the league it actually looks like this Tottenham team has a chance to be involved in the title race if they are to do that though they must win this type of game. Harry Kane has been the main man for Tottenham but he is now ably assisted by Son, Erikson, Delli Alli, Dembele and Lamela. Tottenham have a young core and they are coming good at the same time. Perhaps there is a lack of experience here and the injury to Vertonghen is a huge loss to Tottenham we will see now whether the depth in the squad is able to deal with an injury to a key player.
Norwich City need the three points for the opposite reason, the Canaries are in the midst of a massive relegation battle. Having lost four games in a row Norwich are falling fast, playing against Liverpool at home last week Norwich let a 3-1 lead slip, equalised in the ninty fourth minute and then conceded the winner in the ninty sixth minute. That type of defending is just suicidal and they face a much more potent Tottenham team on Tuesday who also have a much better defence than Liverpool. For me Norwich will need Hoolohan, Mbokani, Brady and new signing Naismith to be at their best on Tuesday to give themselves a chance but I dont know if Norwich's defence is going to be good enough.
Tottenham have not lost away from home since the opening weekend loss to Manchester United. I think Pochettino's side are one of the best in the league but there are questions marks over their strength in depth. If they can answer those questions on Tuesday night with a win at Carrow Road then you could be looking at the value bet in the title race. I'm back Tottenham to get the win here.
