A good match up here in terms of ability I think we see a good game of ball as Watford travel to Selhurst Park to take on a struggling Crystal Palace. Both of these teams have struggled for results of late with Crystal Palace having no win in their last seven league games and Watford with just one win in their last seven games. Crystal Palace's struggles this season have been up front, with no goals from play their strikers have really failed this season. The addition of Adebayor should provide some experience and goals will come as he has tended to score everywhere he has played. Dwight Gayle is also back in contention having missed two months through injury with players getting fitter then surely more goals will come. Bolasie is still out and he has been the key player for Palace over the last couple of years and when he returns I am sure Palace's perfromances will improve.
Watford themselves have struggled of late to find the net scoring just two goals in their last five games and none in their last three away games. Ighalo and Deeney have been a good partnership all season though and they will fancy their chances against Crystal Palace's defence who have had no clean sheets in their last six league games. Watford under Sanchez Flores have done well this season and are still int he top half just two points off Liverpool and Everton. The earlier meeting this season Crystal Palace won a tight game 1-0 with a Yohan Cabaye penalty the difference between the two teams.
Crystal Palace have won four of the last six meetings between the two but the make up of these teams has changed dramatically over the last couple of seasons. It's difficult to see many goals in this one yet both defences have tendencies to give up chances. I'm going to side with the home team here though as I think Ighalo and Deeney will find a way to get a much needed win for the Hornets. Until Palace start scoring consistantly it's tough to take them away from home.
