The Line: Hull City Draw Brighton & Hove Albion See the Latest Odds

TV: Sky Sports

One of the games of the week in the Championship will see Brighton & Hove Albion travel to the KC Stadium to take on League leaders Hull City. A win for Brighton could bring them back to the summit after a rough patch in December, Chris Hughton's team has bounced back very well and have no put together four wins in a row. There is an eclectic squad here with experience and youth in equal measure. Bobby Zamora is the elder statesman in the team, playing excellently and providing both goals and assists. James Wilson the young Manchester United striker started his loan spell on fire scoring three goals in his first two games, he hasnt sustained that excellence with no goals in the next nine appearances but has been a major addition to the squad and his pace and trickery has set up numerous assists and he is providing a real threat alongside Zamora, Kayal and Hemed. Brighton are a team that are definitely in the shake up for the Championship but they are pretty much being written off by the bookmakers and the experts, a win here at the KC Stadium would certainly change that view.

Hull have climbed the table and gone a point clear at the top of the table. The Championship is such a crazy league though nothing is certain here and the Tigers will be looking for another positive result to give themselves some breating space at the top of the table. This is a tough game for both teams and Hull are most definitely one of the form teams in the league and are playing with lots of confidence. Hernandez, Diame, Huddlestone and Livermore are really pushing this squad on and Hull city have a terrific home record with just one loss at the KC in fourteen games this season. Hull have also won seven of their last eight at home a run that has seen them rise to the top of the Championship.

Hull City vs Brighton & Hove Albion 02/16/2016 Championship Preview, Odds & Predictions

This game looks like an absolute cracker on paper, we have two good footballing teams going head to head with a huge amount at stake. Brighton have definitely rebounded from their rough spell and Chris Hughton's side won a cracker 3-2 at the weekend when they were twice dragged back by Bolton. There is belief in both sides here though and I think this is going to be tough to call. I'm actually going to take the draw here, I think both could cancel each other out and while Hull deserve favouritism at home they just snuck past Brighton 1-0 in the FA Cup.
