A couple of tough games coming up in the schedule but Burnley may have a chance to go top of the Championship on Tuesday, Burnley are at home to Forrest with Middlesbrough playing an inform Cardiff and Hull City away to Ipswich. Come Tuesday 10 pm we could see Burnley on top of the table, if they can navigate a tricky home tie with Notthingham Forrest. Burnley are in fine form unbeaten in their last nine in the league with five wins out of their last six home games. Vokes, Boyd and top scorer Gray have been doing the business up front for Burnley and Dyche and his men are looking to bounce straight back up into the Premier League having been relegated last season. With experience in the midfield with Taylor and Barton this is a side that has been well put together and are coming into great form at the right time of the season. Turf Moor will be rocking on Tuesday night for the visit of Notthingham Forrest and a home win like I said earlier could leave the Clarets at the top of the table.
Nottingham forrest were off at the weekend but had their own thirteen game unbeaten streak ended by Huddersfield who won at the City Ground. Forrest manager Dougie Freedman was unhappy with his sides lacklustre performance on the day and they will have to be alot better on Tuesday night when they face a bang in form Burnley.Forrest are unbeaten in their last six away games with four draws and two wins but this is a tough ask for them and their struggles for goals this season is not going to help them in this spot. Forrest are heavily reliant on Oliviera but his eight goals are hardly enough to keep Forrest in the playoff positions. With just thirty goals this season Forrest are averaging just over a goal a game, where as their opponents on Tuesday night have hit fifty goals this season.
I think Burnley are a good play here, at 17/20 they look the value play especially at home where they have been rock solid. The only drawback is that Burnley played the weekend and with the weather as it is that takes it out of the legs. Nottingham Forrest have been tough to beat and they havent played since last saturday week. That's good rest for this game and I think that they will be primed for this one. I am going to take both teams to score here which looks a solid play. Burnley almost always score and with their defence a little leaky of late I fancy Nottingham Forrest to sneak one. I am still tempted by Burnley on the outright but going to take both teams to score as my play here.
