A massive London derby on Wednesday night will see Tottenham Hotspur travel to the East End to take on West Ham United at Upton Park. West Ham are a perfect team for playing spoiler with Slaven Bilic' side very tough to beat especially at home, West Ham are unbeaten at home since losing 4-3 to Bournemouth back in August. This game represents a great opportunity for West Ham to upset their London Rivals and give themselves a shot at the Champions league. West Ham are just four points behind Mancheser United and seven behind Manchester City. Injuries to Sakho and Valencia have left the hammers a little light up front but with Dimitri Payet, Andy Carroll, Emenike and Antonio they have found a way to keep winning. West Ham defensively are very sound and this is going to be a tough ask for Tottenham.
The hottest team in the Premier League will arrive at the Old Boleyn Ground(Upton Park) in confident mood and Tottenham under Pochettino have smply refused to fall away. Spurs have taken the bad results in their stride and have continued to defy the critics with comebacks against Swansea, two wins over Manchester City and have taken points off Arsenal and Chelsea. Tottenham have been the picture of the consistant team they needed to be this season and Manuel Pochettino has done a terrific job. Erikson and Kane have been brilliant this season and with Lamela, Dembele and Delli Alli all having brilliant seasons this is a team that is really well placed to win their first league title since 1961. While everyone is talking about Leicester City as the fairytale , Tottenham winning the league would be just as big a deal but it's being overlooked because of the high spending that Spurs have done in recent years.
This is a really realy tough game to call. I dont think West Ham should be 3/1 though especially at home where they have not lost since August. I do like Tottenham and they are the hottest team in the league but giving a goal head start away from home to a good West Ham side is just too much in my opinion. Taking this purely for the value, West Ham +1.
