Watford and Everton clash in what could be quite an interesting contest since one has been over achieving while the other has been under achieving by quite a bit. The Hornets are going to be at home for this game and that will have a huge edge since both teams rely a lot on their home fans and conditions to get over the line.
Watford have all but secured their place in the Premier League for next season and anything from here is just a bonus for the newly promoted side. This team has impressed me more than once and going forward they are really exciting. This weekend they will have a chance to show that as Everton have had issues at the back throughout the season. That being said, their own defense will also be tested since the likes of Lukaku and Barkley will surely be testing out their own defenses as well.
So from what you can surely see, this should be a very high scoring contest. Both defenses are vulnerable and up front both the Hornets and the Toffies are quite special. The over 2.5 goals here seems like a very good bet and we get there so often.
If we want to bet on the outright result, it is quite possible to do that also since all three outcomes have pretty good odds. That being said, this game could go either way since Everton on paper are probably the better team but away from home it might be a little tough. So in that case I would predict a draw since I don’t see the Hornets losing at home while the Toffies will be hard to beat. That being said this is not the safest bet so taking the goal line option is by far the better play.
