Quarter finals of the FA Cup will see Chelsea travel to Goodison Park to take on an inform Everton. Chelsea just got dumped out of the European Cup against PSG midweek and there has been a whole load of publicity about Eden Hazard's shirt swapping incident , it appears as if Hazard will be on his way out of Chelsea this summer. It is a pity as this is a quality player who was voted Premier League player of the year last year but Hazard appears to have had his focus taken by all these European super powers who have been sniffing around him all summer. PSG, Rea Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with a move for the Belgian magician and I think he probably leaves for Paris in the summer, possibly with Zlatan moving in the opposite direction. But Chelsea are more than just Hazard, with Diego Costa, Fabregas, Willian and Pedro there is enough attacking here to beat anyone on their day. Defensively though Chelsea have struggled against the better teams and they face one of the inform strikers in the league in Romalu Lukaku on Saturday.
Everton will be looking at the FA Cup as a realistic opportunity for silverware, the Toffees will be ready for this game after suffering a painful loss to West Ham last weekend. West Ham came from 2-0 down to win the game 3-2 and to make things worse for Everton Lukaku missed a penalty when Everton were leading 2-0. Everton have been very tough to trust this season but Roberto Martinez has quality players with Barkley, Lukaku and Deulofeu all havign terrific seasons. At the back Everton though have been like swiss cheese , full of holes and they face a tough task against a Chelsea front three that have scored in fourteen of their last fifteen games.
This is one of my favourite bets of the weekend, going to take both teams to score here. I think both offences have a big advantage over their opposite defences here and I really fancy this to come in, possibly by halftime. Everton look a good price to get the win too, especially as Chelsea had such a massive let down game midweek against PSG but for me the value bet in this one is both teams to score.
