Antonio Conte to Chelsea?

The Evening Standard are reporting that Antonio Conte will be announced as the new Chelsea manager on monday evening, sources close to the Italian have said that he will let the Italian FA know of his decision to step down as manager of the Azzuri before taking charge at Chelsea. It's unclear if the former Juventus boss will step down immediately or if he will continue in his role as Italian manager through the Euro2016 Championships and take charge of Chelsea immediately following the tournament. It would make more sense for Chelsea to allow Gus Hiddink to continue his caretaker role until the end of the season and then appoint Conte after the Euro's but when have Chelsea and managerial decisions ever made sense?

The Managerial Merry-go-Round - Conte to Chelsea? Rodgers to Swansea? Mourhino to Utd?

Brendan Rodgers back to Swansea

It appears as if the tactical genius that is Brendan Rodgers will be back in full time management soon and could be back in familiar surroundings as Swansea are said to be keen on re-signing the former Liverpool manager. Rodgers has always ruled out taking a role mid season and is said to fancy the Swansea job as long as the team stay in the Premier League. Rodgers had a successful spell at the Welsh side from 2010-2012 leading Swansea to the Premier League through the playoffs. Unlike some other managers who left their roles for "bigger" clubs Rodgers does not seem to have burned any bridges at the Liberty Stadium and it would appear a summer reunion will be on the cards.

Jose Mourhino already signed to Manchester United

Consistant rumours and inuendo have led to 1,000 pages of speculation about Jose Mourhino returning to management in the summer and that return is said to be already signed. The destination is  Manchester United and with Louis Van Gaal's current struggles it is quite possible the rumours are true. Van Gaal has said this will be his last managerial job and with just a year left on his contract it is possible that he will leave in the summer to open the path for Mourhino to manage the biggest club in the world. United have struggled to replace Alex Ferguson and Mourhino maybe one of the few in the footballing world who brings with him a comparible CV. Manchester United have consistantly denied that Mourhino is signed to a precontract since his departure from Chelsea but the more Van Gaal struggles the more the rumours re -emerge. Some interesting months ahead for Manchester United fans.
