One of the games of the weekend in the English Premier League will see Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford. Given the consistent links between Manchester United and a move for Everton's top scorer Romulu Lukaku one could be forgiven for thinking that Sunday's game could well be an audition for the Belgian center forward. Everton come into this game off the back of one of their worst performances of the season losing out to Arsenal 2-0 in Goodison Park in a really poor performance. Everton came into that game on a high after dumping Chelsea out of the FA Cup and they will be looking for some confidence here with Manchester United also a possible opponent come the FA Cup semi final. Everton have a good squad but will be missing an important player in Gareth Barry who is suspended havign been sent off against Chelsea. Baines and Coleman are key figures on the wings playing the attacking full back role and James McCarthy was inspired when facing Manchester United last season, the young Irish international is among the best young midfielders in England. Everton will come to Old Trafford looking to dent Manchester United's attempts to get Champions League football.
While Everton are no doubt going to come into this one to play spoilers Manchester United have been dour at times this season and Louis Van Gaal is trying to get the right balance all season. Van Gaal has not been helped by the terrible injuries that have plagued Manchester United all season and he will again be without key men on Sunday with captain Wayne Rooney, Phil Jones and Bastian Schweinsteiger all still out. Marcus Rashford an eighteen year old from the youth team has emerged to join the ranks of the biggest clubs in the world and scored the winner in the Manchester derby last time out. Anthony Martial a £30million pound aquisition from Monaco in the off season has been among United's best players along with Juan Mata who has been superb. United have fought back from their injury crisis and inconsistancy to be in contention for the top four after a topsy turvy season an achievemet in itself.
I think given the current prices it's tough to pass up Manchester United here. United although struggling at times this season have beaten Liverpool home and away , just beat Manchester City last time out and also demolished Everton 3-0 in Goodison Park earlier this season. It's tough not to take Manchester United in this spot and at 11/10 they look a great shot.
