For me the visit of Manchester City to the Parc Des Princes to face PSG is the game of the round in the UEFA Champions League quarter finals.

For Manchester City this is pretty much their season, the League Cup winners in England will be looking to make it to their first Champions League semi final and have already gone further than any team in their history in this competition. Manuel Pelligrini is in his last season in charge and wouldnt he lover to leave Manchester City with their first Champions League title. The last time Pep Guardiola  took over a team (Bayern Munich) they had just won the Champions League and Cup double, could dejavu be taking place and will Manchester City be able to follow through and win the competition? Highly unlikely but this is a seriously talented City side. Ya Ya Toure , Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling will all be looking to break down a PSG defence that has been more generous than normal in the last few weeks. Wily Caballero will deputise for the injured Joe Hart in goal but City's biggest loss will be the absence of Vincent Kompany who looks set to miss the rest of the season through injury.

PSG come into this game looking to go a step further than last seasons competition which seen them exit to Barcelona at the quarter final stage. PSG are a work in progress but the addition this off season of Angel Di Maria has moved the team on to the next level and they do look capable of competing with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. The question marks though will be over PSG's bottle when push comes to shove do they have the ability to stop a team like Manchester City attacking wise? This is going to be a big test for Laurent Blancs side, led by the big swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani I think that PSG's potent attack are going to really fancy their chances against a make shift Manchester City defence.

PSG  are 3-1-1 in their last five home games and 7-2-1 in their last ten home Champions League games. Manchester City are 2-2-1 in their last five away games and are 5-1-4 in their last ten away Champions League games. While many would say Manchester City's 4-0 win at the weekend away to Bournemouth was a sign that they are back I would disagree and in comparison PSG blew away third places Nice 4-1 at the weekend. PSG look to have too much offensive firepower for City here and I am going to take the Parisians to get a first leg win.
