Premier League Week 34 04/16/2016 Preview, Odds, Pick and Where to Watch
Saturday 16th April 2016 10:00 (ET)
Manchester United vs Aston Villa
Midweek heroics for Marcus Rashford and Marouanne Fellaini seen Manchester United make it through a tough FA Cup Quarter final replay and now Manchester United's focus will return to the Premier League and Aston Villa. Villa have been absolutely terrible this season and there is no reason to think things will be any different at Old Trafford on Saturday. Manchester United tails are up and the team is performing to a relatively high standard. Take United -2 here as this one could get out of hand early and I full expect United to win this comfortably 4 or 5 nil perhaps.
Pick: Manchester United -2
Everton vs Southampton
With three wins from their last four Southampton have climbed the table and are suddenly just three points behind Manchester United. Southampton manager Ronald Koeman will want to finish the season strong and a win here at Everton would be a good place to start with just five games left for the Saints. Everton have a huge amount of injuries with eleven first team suad members currently out injured or carrying a knock. That is simply put too many for any team to be able to cope with . I think Koeman's men will get result here.
Pick: Southampton to win
Newcaslte United vs Swansea City
Last weekend Swansea City shocked the league by beating Chelsea 1-0. Swansea are heavily reliant on Guilfi Sigurdsson, Ayew and Gomis but all three players are quality, it's easy to see why Swansea have moved away from the relegation zone in recent weeks though. Hard work and effort is nine tenths of the game in the English Premier LEague and Swansea work damn hard for each other. Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is looking for some of that hard work from his own team. A win here would leave Newcastle just three points behind norwich and safety. Simply put with six games to go Newcastle must win this one. I'm going to trust that the Newcastle players and fans know how important this one is and Newcastle will sneak a 1-0.
Pick: Newcastle to win
West Bromwich Albion vs Watford
Only two points seperate these two in the league table and I think two points will still seperate them at the end of this one. I fancy the draw here as both teams are struggling to get some form going and both are safe enough to not be worring about relegation. Tony Pulis teams are hard to beat but equally Watford will not roll over here. Expect a low scoring one here perhaps 1-1.
