Sunderland can secure their spot in next season English Premier League by winning this week as they play Everton at the Stadium of Light in front of their home fans. Sunderland were dead and buried but a team that Jermaine Defoe has inspired might just do it and allow their fans to see them in the Premier League again next season.

At the start of the year, I thought Everton were going to be a team that would go far but as we hit May it looks like another opportunity went missing for the Toffies and with that Roberto Martinez looks like he might just lose his job. This game is for their manager since a loss might just be enough for the owners to pull the trigger. That being said, team morale is not very high and most of the big names are looking toward Euro 2016 rather than Sunderland so it will be interesting to see how the game turns out.

Sunderland on the other hand will be feeling the positive energy as the fans are starting to get behind them. This team has managed to hang on year after year and the dream will become reality once again if they can win at home. They will know that they have another chance against Watford or if Newcastle lose but they will want to seal it here at the Stadium of Light.

I think Sunderland win this game. This is a team on a mission and a win only seems fitting. We are getting a good enough price on them to win at home and it will be a disaster not to take it. I like this spot since it happens so often yet the bookmakers are still too scared to trust Sunderland so we should capitalize while we can.
