Euro 2016 will be underway with the host team, France, in action against Romania. This should be an easy match for the hosts to start their campaign but football is a funny game at times and considering the amount of pressure on France, anything could happen.
France will be led by Paul Pogba in what should be an amazing midfield. He will have the likes of Yohan Cabaye and Kante alongside him in what should be a strong set up. Up front they will have Griezeman, Payet and Giroud and that should ensure they don’t lack goals. At the back they are solid as they will have their captain Lloris in goals. If this team clicks, then we are in for a great treat and nothing is impossible for them.
The problems for French side will be their experience. Although the likes of Pogba have played in Champions League finals, the majority of the players are lacking international experience. It will be important for their captain along with experience players like Cabaye and Evra to lead the way since experience will be needed in the later stages of the competition.
As far as the outcome for the opening match is concerned, I think France will win easily. Betting will be tough since all the odds are so short on the French but the over 2.5 goals looks pretty decent. 3 or more goals are very likely considering the strength of the French so this should be not only a pretty safe bet but also one which has a lot of value involved with it. Another good bet is for Dmitri Payet to score in this game and considering how well he has been playing lately it seems like a steal.
