Turkey take on Croatia in what will be a very interesting match in Euro 2016. Both teams are talented and both teams have the opportunity to get an early win and push for a place in the knockout stages of the competition. I expect a hard fought game here since the outcome of this match will have a huge impact on the campaigns of both nations.
Turkey are a team that have historically done well in international tournaments and they will want to play well again in this competition. This team will be led by FC Barcelona midfielder, Arda Turan, and his impact on this side will be huge. This is pretty well rounded side since they have goals in them while the defense is not shocking either. I think they can run deep if things go for them and a win here is what they really need.
Croatia on the other hand are team that have a lot of expectations on them with the likes of Luca Modric in their side. This team has one of the best midfields in the competition and I think they will feel they can win this game. If there is a problem, it is with the striker but I think there is enough talent in this side to still do well.
As far as this game is concerned, I think Croatia will win. Although both sides have talent, the midfield led by Luca Modric will be too strong. I think we can expect a close game though and as a result the under 2.5 goals is a good bet. Other than that, we are also getting a pretty good price on the outright result so that is a good bet as well.
