Spain will begin their Euro 2016 campaign off against the Czech Republic in a game where both nations will be determined to get three points. This group is not the easiest group and both teams will know that if they fail to start well, then it might get tough for them to reach their desired expectations.
Czech Republic are one of the dark horses in this tournament but they need to do well in the group stages since this isn’t an easy group. Although beating Spain is not expected, any point they can get from this game will be a huge bonus in the later part of the group stages.
Spain on the other hand will want to start their campaign off with a win and make the fans forget about the disaster which was the 2014 World Cup. This team is quite a bit different from the team that started in Brazil but some of the main players like Iniesta, Sergio Ramos and Cesc Fabregas are the same. This team should be more than good enough to win this game and I think they will do it with some style.
As far as betting is concerned, we are getting way too short of a price on Spain so I think looking at other options is better. The best bet I can see in this game in the under 2.5 goals. Spain might play a little conservative given this is their first game and they don’t want to lose so a 1-0 or 2-0 Spanish win is my pick. Either way the under 2.5 goals gets there so this seems to be a reasonable bet. Another good bet in for Moratta to score. The Juventus striker has been in great form and without Diego Costa in the side you have to expect that he will net a few goals.
