Jamaica Vs. Panama 03/22/13
Kamal’s Free CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying Soccer Pick and Preview
These are two teams that are on the rise within CONCACAF and although they play completely different styles have proven to be handfuls for opposition, both nations are under rising stars in the coaching ranks in Jamaica’s Theodore Whitmore and Panama’s Julio César Dely Valdés. The Jamaicans have gone back to a rather experienced squad for this match as opposed to the team that earned a quality draw against Mexico in Estadio Azteca, the likes of Luton Shelton, Motherwell’s Omar Daley, Watford’s Nyron Nosworthy and Portland Timbers Donovan Ricketts. This is a side that is at its best when on the counter attack, it will be interesting to see how well they can execute their plan of attack against a Panamanian side that has played a rather solid approach. The central American side are headlined by veteran talent in their own right the likes of FC Dallas’ Blas Perez and Santos Laguna’s Felipe Baloy but also features DC United’s Marcos Sánchez and Toluca’s Luis Tejeda.
This is a hard match to call but from a value perspective I’ll go with the UNDER, Panama will be a compact side and look to frustrate the Jamaicans with physical play.
Kamal's Pick: UNDER 2 (+105)
