TV: ESPN

Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson meet in the fourth round of the 2015 Wimbledon.

Novak Djokovic is fresh off a straight sets win over Bernard Tomic, which took an hour and a half. Djokovic has yet to drop a set in this tournament and has produced 35 aces through his first three matches. Djokovic is winning at least 75 percent of his first serve points and has hit at least 36 winners in each match. Djokovic has also combined for just 25 unforced errors in his last two matches. There’s really nothing more to say about Djokovic, as he’s clearly the best in the world and has shown no weakness in his game for quite some time. Djokovic has not lost in the fourth round of a grand slam since the 2007 Australian Open. Djokovic hasn’t lost before the quarterfinals in the Wimbledon since 2008.

Novak Djokovic vs. Kevin Anderson 2015 Wimbledon Tennis Pick, Odds, Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Anderson is coming off a straight sets win over Leonardo Mayer, which lasted a little over two hours. Anderson has played 11 sets this tournament and has combined for 69 aces. Anderson is winning at least 86 percent of his first serve points and at least 51 percent of his second serve points. Anderson is really hitting his spots right now and has kept his unforced errors to a combined 37 in his last two matches. Now, can Anderson finally get over that grand slam hump? Anderson has never made it out of the fourth round in his grand slam career. This is just Anderson’s second time making the fourth round of the Wimbledon.

These two have played five times in the past, and Djokovic has won four of those meetings. The most recent meeting was in the 2012 Indian Wells Masters, a match Djokovic won in straight sets. Anderson’s only win over Djokovic came in the 2008 Miami Masters. This is the second time these two will play on grass.

While these two don’t have a long or recent history, Anderson hasn’t taken a single set from Djokovic since their first meeting in 2008. While Anderson’s power can keep him in matches, Djokovic is in too good of form not to win this in straight sets.
