Dustin Brown is coming off a five set win over Dusan Lajovic that took two hours to finish. In the victory, Brown won 88 of 140 first serve points and racked up 53 winners and 41 unforced errors. Brown showed great fight in his opening victory and was able to win the final two sets to advance to the second round. Brown seems to play his best tennis at the Wimbledon, as it’s the only grand slam he’s made it to the third round. However, if Brown is going to pull off the upset here, he must trim his unforced errors in a big way. Brown hopes to make the third round of a grand slam for the third time since 2013. Brown has won 11 of his last 14 matches on grass.
This will be the first time these two meet on the tennis court.
Brown is a snakey good player who has the ability to pull off an upset, but Kyrgios is too focused and hitting the ball too well to get tripped up here.
Give me the Austrlian in four sets.
