The Line -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

TV: ESPN

Kei Nishikori and Andrey Kuznetsov square off early in the third round of the 2016 Wimbledon.

Kei Nishikori is coming off a four set win over Julien Benneteau that took two and a half hours. In the victory, Nishikori won 53 of his 66 first serve points and racked up 48 winners and 22 unforced errors. Nishikori seems to have recovered from his rib injury, as he’s produced 79 winners in two matches and is coming off a match in which he won 80 percent of his first serve points. When Nishikori is hitting the ball at that percentage, he’s capable of beating anybody in the world. Nishikori hopes to make the fourth round of a grand slam for the third straight time. Nishikori has won seven of his last 10 matches on grass.

Kei Nishikori vs. Andrey Kuznetsov 2016 Wimbledon Pick, Odds, Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

Andrey Kuznetsov is coming off a straight sets win over Gilles Muller that took less than two hours. In the victory, Kuznetsov won 43 of 51 first serve points and racked up 42 winners and eight unforced errors. Kuznetsov now has 78 winners and 43 unforced errors in two matches, numbers that give him a chance at an upset, especially if he can trim the errors down a tad. An upset here would be the biggest win of Kuznetsov’s career at 25 years old. Kuznetsov has two career wins over top-10 players, including one this year against Stan Wawrinka. Kuznetsov hopes to make the fourth round of a grand slam for the second time. Kuznetsov has won seven of his last 11 matches on grass.

These two have split their only two meetings, as Nishikori won in this year's French Open and Kuznetsov won in the 2010 Eastbourne Open. This will be the second meeting on grass.

Kuznetsov is capable of stealing a set, especially with Nishikori being up and down in his play at times. However, Nishikori is too good of a shotmaker and has improved drastically in grand slam play. He should have little trouble winning this match.
