TV: ESPN

Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber meet early Saturday in the 2016 Wimbledon final.

Serena Williams is coming off a straight sets win over Elena Vesnina that took less than an hour. In the victory, Serena won 23 of 24 first serve points and racked up 28 winners and seven unforced errors. Serena is backing to serving out of her mind, as she’s lost just five first serve points in her last two matches combined. Serena has won her last 10 sets overall and seems to be in the best position to finally get over that grand slam milestone. Serena will ease through this match if her serve continues to hold up the way it has recently. Serena can tie Steffi Graf with her 22nd career grand slam title. Serena has won 13 straight matches on grass.

Serena Williams vs. Angelique Kerber 2016 Wimbledon Final Pick, Odds, Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

Angelique Kerber is coming off a straight sets win over Venus Williams that took a little over an hour. In the victory, Kerber won 27 of 37 first serve points and racked up 17 winners and 11 unforced errors. Kerber has yet to drop a set this tournament and is coming off a match in which she won 73 percent of her first serve points. Kerber has made 11 or less unforced errors in four of her six matches, and it will need to be that way to have a chance here. Kerber has five victories over top-10 players this season. Kerber hopes to win her second career grand slam title. Kerber has won 15 of her last 17 matches on grass.

These two have played seven times and Serena has won five of those meetings. The most recent match was in this year's Australian Open, a match Keber won in three sets. Kerber’s other win over Serena came in the 2012 Cincinnati Masters. This will be the first meeting on grass.

We’ve been down this road a few times and Serena chokes in the grand slam final. Hard seeing that here considering she’s won her last 10 sets and has lost just five total first serve points in her last two matches. Serena is in a zone and wants to tie Graf in total grand slam titles. Not sure Kerber can beat Serena again in a big spot.

Look for Serena to finally win No. 22.
