The Line: -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

Novak Djokovic and Kyle Edmund meet in the fourth round of the 2016 US Open.

Novak Djokovic is coming off a quick match against Mikhail Youzhny in which he retired after playing just six games. In the victory, Djokovic won 100 percent of his first serve points and 80 percent of his second serve points. Djokovic, who has been dealing with a wrist injury, has now played just six games since his first round victory over Jerzy Janowicz. The rest advantage Djokovic has over his opponents is simply unfair, as the top player in the world has a full tank and fatigue won’t be an issue. Djokovic has made the quarterfinals of every grand slam since 2010 except for this year's Wimbledon. Djokovic has won 15 of his last 16 matches on hard court.

Novak Djokovic vs. Kyle Edmund 2016 US Open Pick, Odds, Prediction

Kyle Edmund is coming off a four set win over John Isner that took 40 games to decide. In the victory, Edmund won 81 percent of his first serve points and 52 percent of his second serve points. Edmund has been quietly making some noise this season, but this is easily his breakout performance at 21 years old. He controlled the Isner match from start to finish and didn’t get rattled by beating a top-25 player. While the odds may not be on his side, Edmund is sure to gain a lot of experience in this match regardless of the outcome. Edmund hopes to make his first grand slam quarterfinal appearance. Edmund has won six of his last nine matches on hard court.

These two have played once in the past, which was in this year's Miami Masters, a match Djokovic won in straight sets. The match took 18 games to decide.

Edmund has had a nice grand slam run and should be proud of what he’s accomplished. However, it’s no secret Djokovic is the better and more experienced player, and he has a massive rest advantage with basically having the first week off. Edmund is coming off a lengthy four set match Friday night.

Djokovic could win this in straight sets.
