Terence Crawford enters this fight with a 27-0 record that includes 19 knockouts. This will be Crawford’s third fight since 2015, and he’s coming off a October win over Dierry Jean. Crawford remains one of the most balanced fighters in the sport, as he can hurt you with an offensive attack or on the defensive end where he picks his spots. Crawford is great at controlling a fight and has done a great job of taking advantage of his chances, as six of his last 10 bouts have been decided by knockout. Crawford hasn’t shown many weakness to this point other than the fact he can start off a little slow at times and pick things up later. This will be Crawford’s first fight in New York.

Terence Crawford vs. Henry Lundy Boxing Preview, Pick, Odds, Prediction - 2/27/16

Henry Lundy enters this fight with a 26-5-1 record that includes 13 knockouts. Lundy has won four of his last six fights and is coming off a October win over Carlos Winston Velasquez. Lundy is a proven fighter who has competed with some respectable names including David Diaz, John Molina and Raymundo Beltran. Lundy moves very well in the ring and has quick hands that help him on offense and defense. Lundy, a former NABF and NABO lightweight champion, won’t be intimidated by the bright lights. The concern with Lundy is that he doesn’t have a ton of power behind those punches, so he often has to work a little harder in order to win the judges over. This will be Lundy’s third fight in New York.

You have to give Lundy some credit, as he is in solid form right now and is athletic enough to make this a fight early on. However, Crawford is a different animal and a guy who is quickly climbing up the boxing ladder at 28 years old. Crawford has a variety of ways he can beat his opponent, and his power is the difference maker in this match.

Look for Crawford to remain undefeated.
