Rocky Fielding and Christopher Rebrasse fight Saturday at the Echo Arena for the WBC International Super Middleweight title.
Rocky Fielding enters this fight with a 21-1 record that includes 12 knockouts. This will be Fielding’s fourth fight since 2015, and he’s coming off a November loss to Callum Smith. Fielding may not have the knockout percentage of a power puncher, but he lands punches extremely hard and hurts his opponent more times than not. Fielding has a solid jab and a left hook that can do serious damage. Fielding will also be super motivated for this fight after getting knocked out in the first round against Smith. The concern for Fielding is he does take a little more shots to the body than you’d like to see from a top tier fighter. Fielding has fought majority of his career in England.

Christopher Rebrasse enters this fight with a 24-4-3 record that includes six knockouts. Rebrasse has won four of his last six fights and is coming off a February win over Matiouze Royer. Rebrasse is a lengthy fighter with a solid jab and has an above-average defensive game. Rebrasse has a proven chin at this stage of his career and has never been knocked out. Rebrasse is a tough fighter due to his long frame and ability to chip away and win round by round. The concern with Rebrasse is that he doesn’t have much power for a guy his size and can get bullied in the ring by better skilled fighters. This will be Rebrasse’s third fight in England.
We’re going to see a very motivated Fielding after he got knocked out and suffered his first loss. This is also a mismatch, as Fielding has all the power, while that’s Rebrasse’s main weakness. If not careful, this could be the first time Rebrasse gets knocked out in his career.
Look for Fielding to get the bounce back victory.
