The British light heavyweight champions, Frank Buglioni, will be defending his title at the O2 Arena in London against former Commonwealth Games gold medalist, Callum Johnson. Both fighters will know the importance of this fight and as a result, we should be able to see a top quality boxing match.
Frank Buglioni enters this fight with a record of 21 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. The champions won his title in December 2016 and this will be the third time he is defending his crown. Buglioni is a very talented fighter and although he has won 15 times via knockout, both his title defenses have been won via decision. While this is not a large sample size, it seems like Frank Buglioni becomes a more defensive fighter when defending the title.
On the other side of the coin, Callum Johnson enters this fight unbeaten with a record of 16 wins and no losses. At the age of 32, this is the peak of Johnson’s fighting career and he will be determined to make that count by winning titles. Johnson has tons of experience and although he is yet to make a name as a top fighter, I think he has enough skill and desire to beat the champions, Frank Buglioni, and gain the British light heavyweight title.
As far as betting is concerned, we are getting a good enough price to bet on Callum Johnson to win the fight and the title. This is the best wager and that is what I am going to suggest. In addition to that, I like this fight to end via knockout since that is what has been happening in Johnson’s fights lately.
