The Boise State Broncos host the option attack of the Air Force Falcons on Friday night.
Air Force hosted an angry Utah State club and never were in a 52-20 pounding in week two. The Falcons are usually dependable in putting out a competitive performance but that wasn't the case here with the option stalling and the defense unable to control Chuckie Keaton. Keaton threw for 360 yards and five touchdowns and ran for another 77 yards as the Aggies piled up 577 yards and 32 first downs. The Falcons totaled a mere 277 yards and couldn't run the ball which is a deat blow to this offense. AFA mustered 162 yards on 49 carries for just over three yards and Jaleel Awini (4-12/61) wasn't getting it done through the air.

After taking one on the chin in their opener, Boise State took out their frustrations on sub division Tennessee-Martin in a 63-14 demolition. It was 63-0 before the Broncos called off the wolves in the 4th in a game that was over before the teams took the field. The Broncos 'only' totaled 472 yards but worked on short fields most of the time with the visitors coughing up a whopping six turnovers including a 33 yard pick six. Joe Southwick completed 17-24 for 234 yards and five scores with Jay Ajayi hauling in 15 receptions for 80 yards and a pair of TD's while also leading the rushing attack with another 80 yards with two more scores. The defense held UTM to 377 yards before taking their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter with plenty of back ups seeing some action.
The Broncos will win this one comfortably but might not care to twist the dagger when up big. I am hearing some of the Falcons are banged up in the back field which would make this a no play for me because I can see a rout if guys are not 100%...
