The Oregon State Beavers travel to Qualcomm Stadium to take the field with the San Diego State Aztecs.
Through three games the two things we know about Oregon State is they can move the chains and find the end zone with opponents able to do much the same. Look no further then Saturday's 51-48 overtime win at Utah as proof with the Utes holding a 559-491 advantage in yardage. Utah could run and throw but three interceptions were crucial while the Ducks were mistake free. OSU was unable to run at all but more then made up for it through the air behind the right arm of Sean Mannion. Mannion completed 27-44 for 443 yards and five touchdowns with Brandin Cooks snaring nine balls for 210 yards and a trio of scores while Richard Mullaney hauled in seven receptions for 142 yards and another touchdown.

San Diego State dropped to 0-2 on the year following a 42-7 loss at Ohio State on Saturday. The first thing that jumps out at me is this not nearly the same team we have come to know from the past few years has they have not been competitive at all on either side of the ball. Ohio State led 35-0 entering the second half and obviously took their foot off the gas or this would have been much worse. The Buckeyes led in yardage 445-280 and kept things on the ground for the most part while the Aztecs had zero rushing attack with 64 yards on 27 tries. Quinn Kaehler was adequate through the air with, completing 22-36 for 216 yards with the lone touchdown and a pick but SDSU needed much more downfield explosiveness given the score. The defense has struggled as well with problems gettin stops but also not getting help from the offensive side of the ball.
I will say up front that Oregon State has a huge offensive edge but their defense might be comparable to San Diego State. The question is can SDSU take advantage and I won't pay to see it but for a lean I'll back the Beavers...
