The Idaho State Bengals are looking to get a nice payday on Saturday when the Bengals head to Washington to face the Huskies.
The Washington Huskies are playing excellent ball this season as the Huskies are 2-0 on the year after their defeat of the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday 34-24. The Huskies currently have the 48th ranked offense in the nation, scoring more than 36 points per game, and defensively the Huskies are solid as well, giving up just over 15 per game. Washington’s offense was dynamic against the Illini defense on Saturday, putting up 615 yards of total offense on the day. The Huskies quarterback Keith Price threw for 342 yards and two scores against the Illini defense, giving price a QBR of 84.7 for the day. The ground game for the Huskies also was very effective, as Washington rushed for 273 yards, averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

The Idaho State Bengals are 2-0 this season as the Bengals head to Husky Stadium on Saturday. The Bengals have wins over Dixie State, and Western State, winning by a combined total of 69-17. The Bengals last outing was against Western State this past weekend. The Bengals put up 469 yards of offense on the day, with 429 of that coming through the air. Bengal quarterback Arias was outstanding against Western State, throwing for 429 yards and two scores. The ground game wasn’t nearly as effective however as the Bengals carried the ball 25 times for 40 yards, giving Idaho State an average of 1.6 yards per carry.
This game has been getting very little to no action as far as offshore books are concerned. The Washington Huskies opened up at -49 (-110) and have been holding right there since open.
Personally, even if you find a book willing to take this game, I’d stay away. The Huskies should dominate this one and do whatever they want against the Bengals, but keep in mind that the Huskies have to face the Wildcats in their Pac-12 opener the following week. I’ll take the Bengals here, because this is just a ridiculous number to be giving up, especially in a sandwich game between Illinois and their Conference opener against Arizona.
