The Washington Huskies host the Arizona Wildcats in PAC 12 action on Saturday night.
I guess you could say the real season starts for Arizona after they thumped Texas-San Antonio 38-13 to up their record to 3-0. The Wildcats have yet to be tested with their other wins coming against UNLV and Northern Arizona. Zona flexed their muscle with a 24-6 lead at the break and were never challenged with a 422-389 edge in real estate with the rushing attack totaling 264 yards on 48 totes with a 5 1/2 yard average. Ka'Deem Carey led the way with 127 yards with BJ Denker adding 90 yard with both finding the end zone twice. Denker also threw for 158 yards as the Wildcats probably could have score 50 if they chose.

Similar to Arizona, Washington begins the real season Saturday as they have had an easy go of it on the way to a 3-0 mark. Both sides of the ball have been solid and were outstanding in a 56-0 rout of sub division Idaho State. This was an obvious mismatch with the Huskies leading 42-0 at the break behind a staggering 680 yards of offense. UW ran for 370 yards with six players rushing for over 40 yards and a seven yard average with the Huskies much too big up front for the visitors. Keith Price had a workman like effort with 14-21 completions turning in to 213 yards and a trio touchdowns. The defense limited the Bengals to 164 yards which needs no further explanation.
This is the PAC 12 opener for both schools and the schedules for both teams has me wondering just where each team stands. I am going with the home squad, but certainly don't like laying the TD...
