The Eastern Michigan Eagles will be on the road to face MAC rival the Buffalo Bulls.
Eastern Michgan has dropped three straight since an opening day victory over sub division Howard. The Eagles seem to have the same problem they've had in previous years in that they don't find the end zone nearly as often as opponents. That was painfully obvious in a 51-20 defeat at the hands of visiting Ball State who led in yardage by a 543-416 count. The Eagles did their thing on the ground with 204 yards but the Cardinals did their thing every where. Bronson Hill paced the running game with 126 yards with Tyler Benz throwing for 212 more but two lost fumbles and a pair of picks versus a team that was moving the ball was deadly.

After four games I would say Buffalo looks improved but to be perfectly honest I can't prove or disprove this statement. Losses to Ohio State and Baylor were expected while wins over Stony Brook and Connecticut were not shocking. I would say their 41-12 rout of the Huskies was a really good sign although UConn helped out the Bulls with a lost fumble and three interceptions which were turned in to points. UB led in yardage by a 330-220 count with Brandon Oliver rushing for a game high 90 yards and a touchdown while Joe Licata threw for 177 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Not a big yardage game but the defense set the Bulls up with short fields and had a pick six so big yardage wasn't needed.
EMU has dominated this match up but I would be completely shocked if Buffalo lost. In fact the Bulls have blow out potential but I have a hard time laying two touchdowns and would rather look else where then do that...
