The Florida Atlantic Owls head to Legion Field to square off with the Alabama-Birmingham Blazers.
If you look at the last two games Florida Atlantic was a play or two from winning but the bottom line is they didn't and lost both which says this team still has a way to go. An 18-14 defeat at Rice was extremely disappointing with the Owls leading the entire way before a fumble return and a 20 yard TD run in the fourth ruined an other wise solid road performance. FAU won the yardage battle 366-273 but the defense needs some scoring help. Florida Atlantic turned the ball over four times and couldn't run the ball except for 74 yards from Jonathan Wallace. The passing produced some decent yardage but constantly misfired with Greg Hankerson going 22-46 for 272 yards with a pair of scores and two picks.

This one boils down to whether the Alabama-Birmingham offense will move the ball and score versus the FAU defense. Sounds simple but the Owls also have to score a few points and that's not a sure thing but I like D...
