The USC Trojans and the Arizona Wildcats face off on Thursday Night in Pac-12 college football action.
The USC Trojans are having a season of turmoil which already includes the firing of the their head Coach Lane Kiffin. The Trojans are short in numbers but as always long on talent and they will try and put it back together for the remainder of the season. The USC offense is averaging 26 points and 380.4 yards per game. QB Cody Kessler has completed 63.5 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and four interceptions. Tre Madden is averaging 5.3 yards per carry with three touchdowns and 12 receptions with another three touchdowns and Justin Davis is averaging 7.4 yards per carry with five touchdowns. Marquise Lee is Southern Cal’s best player with 30 catches and a touchdown, Nelson Agolor has 11 catches and a touchdown, and Xavier Grimble has 10 catches and a touchdown. The USC defense is allowing 21.2 points and 306.8 yards per game with seven interceptions, a fumble recovery, and 17 sacks. USC has talent; they just have had little quality guidance.

The Arizona Wildcats won their first three games of the season but they are coming off of their first loss of the year in their first Pac-12 game. This is back-to-back road games for Arizona and their third time on the road in five game this year. QB B.J. Denker has completed 50 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 280 yards and six touchdowns. Ka’Deem Carey averages 5.9 yards per carry with five touchdowns and Daniel Jenkins is averaging 6.5 yards per carry with a touchdown. Samajie Grant leads Arizona with nine catches and touchdown, Garic Wharton has eight catches, and Nate Phillips has seven catches in the Wildcats run first offense. Scooby Wright has 28 tackles, Jared Tevis has 27 tackles, and Tra’Mayne Boundurant has 23 tackles. Arizona beat USC by three last season.
USC is 2-8 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 1-5 against the spread in their last six Pac-12 games, and 1-7 against the spread in their last eight games overall. Arizona is 10-4 against the spread following a bye week, and 0-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The underdog has covered the spread in the last eight meetings of these two.
