The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks visit Peden Stadium where the Ohio Bobcats await.
At this point in the season I think the Miami (Ohio) fans are looking to see where their team might pick up their first victory especially with the easy part of the schedule behind them. The biggest problem for this team has been their lack of scoring punch which we saw in a 24-17 loss to visiting Akron. The Zips won the yardage battle 383-303 with with a balanced attack while Miami (Ohio) much more one dimensional with only 77 rushing yards and only two yard average. Austin Boucher was solid under center despite little help from his rushing attack as he completed 233-34 for 226 yards with a pair of touchdowns and a pick including a 44 yard scoring strike to Dawan Scott.

Following an upset home defeat at the hands of visiting Central Michigan, Ohio traveled to Eastern Michigan and took out some frustration in a 56-28 rout as a two touchdown road favorite to move to 5-2 on the season. The Eagles brought back the opening kick 90 yards for a 7-0 lead and looked capable of the upset with a 21-21 score at the half but the Bobcats dominated all phases of the game in the final 30 minutes to win easily. When the final whistle sounOhio had amassed 547 yards and forced three turnovers. The rushing attack produced almost150 yards with Beau Blankenship and Ryan Boykin combining for 108 yards and ttthree touchdowns. Tyler Tettleton was the star of the game by going 23-30 for 375 yards for four touchdowns and a pick including an 80 yard bomb.
Ohio can name their score here with the one thing to think about is Buffalo coming in next. I still have no interest in this one so I'll just take the points which still might not be enough...
