Romney Stadium and the Utah State Aggies host the Hawaii Warriors in week ten action.
I guess if you look on the bright side of things Hawaii hasn't been as bad as their 0-7 record. Of course the bad side is the Warriors are still without a win so it's tough to see the bright spots. UH has been a pretty good offensive team the past four times out but the defensive side of the football has hurt them which is what we saw in a 35-28 loss to visiting Colorado State. Both teams finished with over 400 yards in a some what sloppy contest that saw both teams combine for 19 penalties and five turnovers. The main difference was the Rams totaled over 230 yards on the ground with Hawaii totaling just 48. The Warriors were a different animal in the air with Sean Schroeder completing 28-49 for 349 yards with two scores and a pick with Chris Gant hauling in eight balls for 159 yards.

Utah State saw a promising season take a huge hit when all every thing quarterback Chuckie Keeton went down with a season ending knee injury. The Aggies year depends on what happens over the final four contests and thay have had two weeks to collect their thoughts after heading in to their bye with a 45-10 rout of New Mexico. USU piled up almost 500 yards behind an impressive 337 rushing yards with Joey DeMartino leading the way with 144 yards on 12 totes with three trips to the end zone while Jaron Bentrude ripped off a 71 yard scoring jaunt on his lone carry. A solid rushing attack was just what the doctor ordered for Darell Garretson who didn't have to shoulder the load. Garretson went 15-23 for 144 yards and a touchdown and no miscues which made the job of the defense even easier.
I don't like to give the improving air attack of Hawaii all these points but Utah State has a solid defense and they are playing for their postseason lives so hopefully the Aggies play desperate...
