The Bowling Green Falcons host the Ohio Bobcats in a MAC Tuesday night match up.
Ohio saw their hopes of winning the MAC East title go by the wayside in a 30-3 loss at Buffalo. The Bobcats are typically a solid squad on both sides of the ball, but not against the Bulls where they never got untracked and the defense came up short in the second half when UB went on a 23-0 run. Ohio was out gained 421-233 and couldn't contain Brian Oliver on the ground and he ran for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns. On the flipside, the Bobcats struggled on the ground and Beau Blankenship lead the way with only 68 yards on 20 carries. Tyler Tettleton also had problems in the air by completing 14-31 for 126 yards with nine players recording receptions.

Bowling Green is in the midst of a battle for first in the MAC East as they sit one game behind unbeaten Buffalo with a date with the Bulls scheduled for the final game of the regular season. The Falcons bounced back nicely from their loss to Toledo with a one sided 45-3 rout of a struggling Miami (Ohio) on the road. The Falcons are tough on both sides of the ball and proved it with a 447-228 advantage in yardage with 30 first downs. BGSU was able to move the chains in any way they chose with Travis Greene pacing the rushing attack with 112 yards on 14 carries while Matt Johnson had an easy go of it through the air. Johnson connected on 20-26 for 252 yards with three touchdowns and an interception with nine players catching the ball while the defense got on the scoreboard with a fumble return.
I am an Ohio fan and when I look at this game I can see it going either way. Having said that, I will sit this one out because it's too many points to give up for me, but I'll firm up by game day...
