The Line: Toledo Rockets -4.5 -- Over/Under: 56 See the Latest Odds

The Buffalo Bulls look to stay atop the MAC East when they take oon the Toledo Rockets on the road.

The grinding rushing attack of Buffalo has combined with a stiffling defense to carry the Bulls to the top of the East Division of the MAC. Both played prominent roles in a 30-3 victory over Ohio in week ten with the numbers telling the story. UB out gained their counterparts 421-233 behind a bruising rushing attack and a ball control passing game. Brian Oliver came up huge on the ground with a monster 249 yards on 34 carries with a pair of trips to the end zone. Joe Licata wasn't as explosive in the air but he was effective with a 13-22 performance for 169 yards with two scores and an interception. The defense held Ohio to a field goal which sums up their effort versus a solid offensive squad.

Toledo Rockets vs. Buffalo Bulls Pick-Odds-Prediction - 11/12/13

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Toledo is still in the running for the MAC West title but trail unbeaten Ball State and Northern Illinois so they have to win their final three games and get some help or they are simply playing for a Bowl. If momentum accounts for anything the Rockets should have some after a 55-16 victory over visiting Eastern Michigan was number four in a row. Toledo exploded for over 700 yards split almost evenly between the run and pass while the Eagles mustered only 309 yards. Kareem Hunt led the rushing attack with 168 on 20 totes with two scores while the trio of Damion Jones-Hunt, Mark Remy and Rick Pringle combined for 176 yards. Terrance Owens was on target in the air, going 18-24 for 375 yards for three touchdowns with Justin Olack catching three balls for 110 yards.

On paper Toledo might have played some tougher competition and Buffalo is coming off a solid win over Ohio. For now I'll back the Bulls but will watch the line and finalize by Tuesday morning...
