The Kentucky Wildcats have a long way to go until they are competitive and while they hoped this season they would be taking a step forward it looks more like an all out rebuilding process in Lexington. Kentucky is just 2-7 on the year and none of those wins came against teams in the SEC. Jalen Whitlow has completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 915 yards and five touchdowns and e has rushed for 395 yards and six touchdowns. Jojo Kemp has rushed for 435 yards and two touchdowns and Raymond Sanders has rushed for 404 yards and three touchdowns. Javess Blue has 31 catches and two touchdowns and Ryan Timmons has 27 catches and two touchdowns. Avery Williamson as 82 tackles, Alvin Dupree has 47 tackles and 5.5 sacks, and Za’Darius Smith has 41 tackles and 5.5 sacks. The UK offense is averaging 23.2 points and 358.9 yards per game and defensively they are allowing 29.6 points and 421.6 yards per game.
Vanderbilt is 14-6 against the spread in their last 20 home games, 5-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record, and 8-2 against the spread following a win. Kentucky is 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 games overall, 5-2 against the spread following a loss, and 3-10 against the spread in their last 13 SEC games. The favorite has covered the spread in the last four meetings of these two.
Vanderbilt has done well for us against the number but it has been as a dog for the most part and not as a double-digit home favorite, I am just going to go with the under here as the total looks to be ridiculous for these two.
