The UCF Knights and the South Florida Bulls close out Friday college football action as they face off in Orlando.
The Central Florida knights are looking at a BCS game this bowl season and while that was a reach for a goal that is very much within their sites now. UCF still has another game next week when they play at SMU. Blake Bortles has completed 68.3 percent of his passes with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions and he has rushed for three touchdowns. Storm Johnson has been the main man in the backfield rushing for 916 yards and 11 touchdowns. Rannell Hall has 44 receptions and three touchdowns, J.J. Worton has 36 catches and seven touchdowns, and Jeff Godfrey has 33 receptions and four touchdowns. Terrance Plummer has 81 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions, Clayton Geathers has 73 tackles, and Sean Maag has 57 tackles. UCF is averaging 35.8 points and 455 yards per game while defensively they are allowing 20.2 points and 354.9 yards per game. UCF has built this team for several years.

The South Florida Bulls have just two wins this season but a win here would make the whole season feel a little better. USF clearly has work to do as a program but they also have a lot to work with locally in recruiting. Mike Whit is in at QB and he has completed 58.2 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and seven interceptions. Marcus Shaw has rushed for 680 yards and two touchdowns as USF has only two rushing touchdowns all season. Andre Davis has 41 receptions and two touchdowns and Mike McFarland has 20 catches and two touchdowns. DeDe Lattimore has 76 tackles, Mark Joyce has 53 tackles, and Reshard Cliett has 44 tackles. Offensively South Florida is averaging 14 points and 260.7 yards while defensively they are allowing 28.2 points and 354.4 yards per game. It has been a season to forget for the Bulls.
Central Florida is 6-2 against the spread following a win, 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games overall, and 6-1 against the spread in their last seven home games. South Florida is 6-14 -1 against the spread following a loss, 8-22-1 against the spread in their last 31 games, and 3-13 against the spread after coring less than 20 points in their previous game.
The total is set at 49.5 but this one is going near that so my free pick is on the under. I also have a play on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area and on the App.
