The Central Michigan Chippewas and Kelly/Shorts Stadium host the Eastern Michigan Eagles.
Eastern Michigan enters the final game of 2013 with two wins largely because the offense has struggled to find the end zone and the defense has seen the opposition in their end zone too much. The numbers didn't improve in a 58-7 loss to Bowling Green with the Falcons leading 34-7 and never letting up. BGSU piled up 560 yards and were able to both run and throw while Eastern Michigan checked in with only 65 yards with 61 yards coming on the ground. Three quarterbacks combined to go 1-18 for four yards with the offense running 27 plays with three turnovers with a ten yard pick six accounting for the scoring.

Central Michigan is looking for a repeat of a year ago when a late flurry of wins made them Bowl eligible. The Chippewas have won four of six to improve to 5-6 on the season with a win needed in week 14 to have a shot at the postseason. CMU took another step in the right direction with a 37-0 rout of Massachusetts behind stifling defense which gave the offense great field position. The Minutemen were limited to 178 yards, lost a fumble and were intercepted three times with one turning in to a 34 yard pick six. The Chips totaled just under 300 yards with virtually no running attack which turned out fine with Cooper Rush completing 13-21 for 231 yards with a pair of scoring throws and most importantly, no interceptions.
I was favoring Central Michigan but I have read they might not be selected for a Bowl even with a 6-6 finish which could be a ton of motivation out the window. Of course a loss ends all hope and hope is all they have. However laying all the points makes me urge caution because there are better options...
