The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Arizona Wildcats face off on Saturday in their final college football game of the regular season as they meet for the Territorial Cup.
The Arizona State Sun Devils are headed to the Pac-12 Championship game and with a win there over Stanford they get to the Rose Bowl. While this could be a spot where ASU is looking ahead it is doubtful that will happen with their archrivals on the opposing sideline. Taylor Kelly has completed 63.2 percent of his passes for 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and e has rushed for 411 yards and eight touchdowns. Marion Grice has had a monster year rushing for 996 yards and 14 touchdowns and catching 50 passes scoring another six touchdowns. Jaelen Strong has 65 receptions and six touchdowns and D.J. Foster has 52 catches and three touchdowns. Chris Young has 84 tackles and 5.5 sacks, Davon Coleman has 7.5 sacks, and Robert Nelson has six interceptions and Carl Bradford has 6.5 sacks. The Arizona State offense has averaged 41.9 points and 472.8 yards per game while defensively they allow 25.2 points and 344.4 yards per game. Arizona State will be looking to make it four wins in a row over Arizona.

The Arizona Wildcats are coming off of a huge win as they blew out the Oregon Ducks on Saturday. The win ended a two game losing streak and made the Wildcats winners on Senior Day. B.J. Denker is completing 61.5 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. Ka’Deem Carey is having a big year rushing the football gaining 1,559 yards and scoring 16 touchdowns. Samajie Grant has 44 receptions and Nate Phillips has 39 catches and seven touchdowns. Marquis Flowers has 78 tackles to lead the Arizona defense while Scooby Wright has 76 tackles and Jake Fisher has 75 tackles. Arizona is averaging 33.8 points and 455.2 yards per game while defensively they are allowing 21.6 points and 398.6 yards per game. Arizona will need the type of effort they had last week if they hope to grab a win here.
Arizona State is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight home games, 5-2 against the spread in their last seven Pac-12 games, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five games on grass. Arizona is 5-11 against the spread following a game which they covered the spread, 1-4 against the spread following a win, and 2-6 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The underdog is 13-3 against the spread in the last 16 meetings of these two.
This is really the best these two have been at the same time in a while and while neither of them are on a National Championship level, they aren’t nearly as far off as they were a few years ago. I lie Arizona State to win this game but I can see Arizona covering the spread.
