The Army Black Knights head to Aloha Stadium to face the Hawaii Warriors in late night action.
The Army option has been clicking on all cylinders in 2013 with the team ranked number one on the ground with 331 yards. The flip side is the passing attack is ranked last with the offense seldom going to the air regardless of what the scoreboard says. That hasn't necessarily worked out as witnessed by their 3-7 record but that is how business is done. The Black Knights dropped their third straight by a 21-17 count to Western Kentucky who scored with 32 second remaining to steal the win. The option piled up 277 rushing yards with Terry Baggett (12-102) and Tony Giovannelli (6-82) carrying the load. Angel Santiago was quiet on the ground but was efficient through the air, going 7-10 for 70 yards.

Hawaii enters the final game of the season with an 0-11 mark with several close calls but still the goose egg in the win column. As the year progessed the Warriors became a solid passing team and with a healthy Joey Iosefa in the backfield the rushing attack received a boost. UH has dropped back to back overtime decisions with a 59-56 loss at Wyoming probably the most disappointing. The defense struggled to get stops with the Cowboys approaching 800 total yards with Hawaii totaling an impressive 624 yards behind a career day in the air from Sean Schroeder who threw for 499 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions. Chris Gant was the top receiver with eight catches for 174 yards and four TD's.Iosefa ran for 94 yards on 24 carries with a pair of trips to the end zone but nothing was enough with Wyoming moving the ball at will.
Army is solid at stopping the pass and Hawaii stops nothing on the ground so my attention immediately goes to the points but something tells me the Warriors win this. I'll lay the points and watch this line...
