The Ohio State Buckeyes will meet the Wolverines in “The Game” on Saturday in Michigan Stadium.
The Michigan Wolverines had a lot of excitement and promise to start the season, but since the Wolverines have ran into some tough times. The Wolverines are 7-4 on the year, with a record in the Big Ten of 3-4. The Wolverines have dropped three out of their last four, losing to the Huskers, the Spartans and the Hawkeyes, with their lone win in that stretch coming against Northwestern on the road in overtime. The offense was thought to be a strength coming into the season, but the Wolverines have really struggled moving the ball efficiently lately, scoring 20+ points just once in this last four game stretch. The Wolverines still are playing solid defensively, but Michigan fell apart in the second half against Iowa, which doesn’t bode well playing one of the top offenses in the nation this week in the undefeated Buckeyes.

The Ohio State Buckeyes head to Michigan on Saturday, and they bring their 23 game win streak with them. The Buckeyes have been running it up on teams lately, trying to secure their place in the BCS, and with Baylor falling on Saturday night, the Buckeyes are now in prime position to jump into the title game should Alabama or Florida State suffer a setback. The Buckeyes took care of business this past weekend, defeating the Indiana Hoosiers 42-14 in Columbus. The Buckeyes had over 450 yards of total offense against the Hoosiers, and show no signs of slowing down heading into Ann Arbor this weekend. The defense has been an issue for the Buckeyes this season, and with the Wolverines knowing that they could knock OSU from title contention, expect the Wolverine offense to play tough here.
The Buckeyes are 26-4-1 against the spread in their last 31 road games when going up against a team with a winning record. The over is also 6-1 for the Buckeyes in their last seven games when they gain 450+ yards in their previous game.
The Michigan Wolverines have gone under the total in five of their last five games in November, and the total has gone under in all four of the last four games for the Wolverines.
I have to go with the Buckeyes in this spot. Ohio State is out to prove that they belong in the title picture, and the last thing they want is the Wolverines to end that, as well as their winning streak. Michigan does have a ton to play for here, and the home field advantage will be a factor, keeping Michigan in this game for awhile.
I look for this to be close heading into the locker room, but look for the Buckeyes to come out strong in the second half, pulling away for Michigan and getting the cover and the win in The Game on Saturday.
