The Auburn Tigers look fo their second win when the SJSU Spartans visit Jordan Hare Stadium.
The San Jose State Spartans over powered North Dakota 42-10 in a wire to wire rout as a 24 point favorite. The Spartans totaled 406 yards with most coming from a deadly efficient passinng attack led by Blake Jurich. Jurich completed 22-25 throws for 250 yards and three touchdowns with Tyler Winston snagging ten passes for 96 yards and a pair of scores. The rushing attack was ordinary with Thomas Tucker's 81 yards giving SJSU some viable production. The Spartans special teams got involved with Tyler Ervin's 40 yard punt return and when the smoke had cleared there were contributions from most everywhere. The defense held North Dakota to 244 yards and 12 first downs with the lone TD scored with a little more the a minute left.

The Auburn Tigers avoided the upset at the hands of visiting Arkansas with an explosive second half on the way to a 45-21 decision in their opener. When the dust settled a 24-0 run over the final 30 minutes broke open a 21-21 tie heading in to the locker room. The Tigers rolled up almost 600 yards behind a run heavy attack that was bolstered by a very productive air game. Jeremy Johnson went 12-16 for 243 yards with 18 yard and 49 yard scoring strikes with WR D'haquille Williams giving the Tigers 154 yards and a TD on nine receptions. Cameron Artis-Payne led a punishing Auburn ground game with 177 yards with Corey Grant adding another 87 yards. The Razorbacks mustered 324 yards but could not do much of anything after halftime.
I think San Jose State has to run the ball to eat away clock and keep the Auburn offense off the field. That will be easier said then done because the Spartans are a passing squad so the Tigers will have plenty of chances to score and I think they do...
