The Arkansas State Red Wolves welcome the Utah State Aggies to ASU Stadium on Saturday.
The Utah State Aggies topped visiting Wake Forest 36-24 in a mistake filled contest. The Aggies totaled 391 yards and overcame three turnovers including a pick six thanks to a big performance through the air. Chuckie Keeton threw 166 yards with a pick and INT with Darrell Garretson adding another 121 yard with a score and pick with the Aggies getting 12 receptions and 138 yards from Hunter Sharp. USU had no ground attack but the defense helped on the scoreboard with Zach Virgil recording a 35 yard pick six while Devin Centers returned a fumble 47 yards for another TD.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves struggled to defend the Miami Hurricanes passing attack in a 41-20 defeat. Brad Kaaya and the Hurricanes air game totaled 342 yards and four touchdowns with a pair of 63 yard scores. The Red Wolves struggled to move the chains with 329 yards and a pair of turnovers with virtually no running threat to lean on with Johnston White with his 14 carry, 83 yard performace being the only runner of significance. Fredi Knighten gave ASU 217 passing yards but had problems hooking up with his receiving corps on a 22-40 effort with ten players recording receptions.
I saw that Keeton might be a bit banged up which is something to look at as game time approaches. I'll take Utah State if he is healthy and sit it out otherwise...
