The Fresno State Bulldogs look for back to back wins when they visit University Stadium to face the New Mexico Lobos.
The Fresno State Bulldogs finally broke in to the win column with a 56-16 rout of Southern Utah to up their record to 1-3. The boxscore reflected complete dominance with the Bulldogs approaching almost 700 yards and 29 first downs. FSU did what they wanted when they wanted with Marteze Waller leading the run with 117 yards and six while Josh Quezda followed with 84 yards and another trip to the endzone. Brian Burrell and Zach Greenlee gave the Bulldogs air game plenty of punch with 254 yards and three touchdowns with Da'Mari Scott snaring two balls for 102 yards including an 84 yard score.

The New Mexico Lobos picked up a 38-35 win at New Mexico State to improve to 1-2. The Lobos and Aggies traded scores for the most part with UNM tallying the winning touchdown with 27 seconds remaining in regulation. Both squads finished around the 500 yard mark with the Lobos doing the majority of their damage on the ground with 432 yards and just under nine yards per touch. Four players threw passes with a combined 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns which was bonus production for a team that seldom puts the ball in the air. Crusoe Gongbay was the go to guy for the Lobos rush with 134 yards on 15 totes with Jhurell Pressley totaling 77 yards including a 47 yardjaunt to open the scoring.
I don't think either team will on the must watch list and I think an argument could be made for either team (I think). I'm laying the points and will watch this as the week goes on so be on the look out for an update...
