Rentschler Field will be rocking when the Temple Owls visit the Connecticut Huskies in week five.
The Temple Owls demolished an outmanned Delaware State squad 59-0 in week four action. The Owls scored in every way includin a punt return, a blocked pun and pick six while the Hornets offense managed only 93 yards and gave the ball away four times. PJ Walker didn't have a long afternoon under center with a 10-14 effort resulting in 127 yards with a pair of touchdowns and two interceptions. David Hood, Jahad Thomas and Jamie Gilmore combined to give Temple 163 rushing yards with Jalen Fitzpatrick making three catches for 75 yards.

The Connecticut Huskies fell at South Florida 17-14 to see their record drop to 1-3. This one was all about defense and this unit was outstanding in defeat. Uconn held the Bulls to 271 yards and recorded a 70 yard pick six by Byron Jones.The Fouth Florida defense was even better with the Huskies mustering only 145 yards and six first downs with 21 minutes of possession. UConn managed under 60 yards on the ground with Chandler Whitmer hitting Geremy Davis with a 32 yard touchdown 1:19 of the 4th for the one positve for a struggling offense.
The way Connecticut played BYU and Boise State we saw some positives that says they can give Temple problems but I think the Owls have the edge on both sides of the ball...
