The Army Black Knights and Yale Bulldogs will square off Saturday afternoon at the Yale Bowl.
The Army Black Knights look to rebound from their close loss last week to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. As usual, Army enters this matchup as one of the top rushing teams in the country, averaging 5.2 yards per carry, and Larry Dixon is leading the way with 326 yards and three touchdowns. The Black Knights have run the ball 169 times and passed just 17 times, but quarterback Angel Santiago is completing 83.3 percent of his limited attempts. Going up against a Yale defense that is allowing 210 rushing yards per game, Army should get plenty of chances to make plays on the ground. Defensively, the Army Black Knights are allowing 425.7 yards per game and have forced five turnovers and three sacks. Jeremy Timpf leads the Black Knights with 29 tackles and five tackles for loss, while Josh Jenkins has two interceptions.

The Yale Bulldogs won their first game of the season against the Lehigh Mountain Hawks and look to start the season 2-0 for the second straight season. The Bulldogs produced an offensive explosion in the victory, which included 54 points and nearly 700 yards. Morgan Roberts completed 76.9 percent of his passes and Yale averaged more than seven yards per carry. Deon Randall showed why he’s one of the top Ivy league receivers, as he caught 13 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown. Of course, this was a nice change of pace for Yale fans who saw last year’s team get held to 25 or fewer points a total of six times. Defensively, the Yale Bulldogs allowed 521 yards and had four tackles for loss. Foyesade Oluokun leads Yale with 12 tackles and Charles Cook has two tackles for loss.
