The Kent State Golden Flashes travel to Huskie Stadium to battle MAC rival the Northern Illinois Huskies.
The Kent State Golden Flashes have struggled offensively through an 0-4 start and the struggles carried over to the defensive side of the ball in week five's 45-13 defeat at Virginia. The Cavaliers racked up 520 yards with equal ability to run and throw while he Golden Flashes mustered 280 yards and gave the ball away five times. Kent was unable to move the ball on the ground and Colin Reardon struggled in the air with a 15-32 effort producing 239 yards with a 45 yard scoring throw to James Brooks but three interceptions and a pick six negated the positives.

The Northern Illinois Huskies dream of a perfect season came back to earth with a thud in a one sided 52-14 loss to Arkansas who has turned out to be better then advertised. The Razorbacks proved to be too strong and too fast as they held a 427-303 yardage advantage with solid rushing and passing numbers. NIU failed to establish a much need ground game with Cameron Stingily posting 49 yards on ten carries but he didn't get any help. Under the circumstances Drew Hare gave the Huskies a solid air attack with an 18-29 performance for 179 yards with eleven yard and 15 yard scoring strikes to Aregeros Turner and Joel Bouagnon. Arkansas also scored on a fumble return and brought back the opening kick for six.
If you have followed the Huskies they are generally favored by some very uncomfortable numbers and this is a lot of chalk. I'm going with potential but I'm not running to the window to bet it...
