The Georgia State Panthers fell at Louisiana-Lafayette 34-31 to drop number four in a row as their pass heavy attack couldn't control the scoreboard. The Ragin' Cajuns held a slight 461-425 but they had some balance as opposed to the Panthers who depended on the pass. Michael Caffey logged 90 yards on 27 carries with three trips to the endzone but the Panthers didn't do much otherwise on the ground. Nick Arbuckle was solid in the air with 276 yards on 19-27 with Donovan Harden pacing Georgia State with 91 yards on four receptions. The bottom line was UL Lafayette did a bit of everything and made an extra play or two.
Arkansas State has yet to hit their stride but I see no chance of an upset here. It seems that Georgia State and their passing does keep things close so I'll take the points and hope that trend continues...
