Aloha Stadium hosts the Mountain West battle between the Hawaii Warriors and the Wyoming Cowboys.
The Wyoming Cowboys headed in to their bye week on the wrong side of a 56-14 rout at Michigan State. This was over by the half with the Spartans up 42-14 on the way to amassing 533 yards while the Cowboys were limited to 286 yards with eleven first downs and three turnovers. The Cowboys desperately needed a clock eating ground game but even Shaun Wick's 57 yard touchdown jaunt wasn't enough to burn some clock. Colby Kirkegaard completed 16-24 throws for 188 yards with a touchdown and interception but not much stretching the field.

The Hawaii Warriors look to get back in the win column after a 28-14 defeat at Rice left the team staring at consecutive losses. UH had 7-0 and 14-7 leads before the Owls score twice in the final four minutes. The Owls approached 400 yards but gave the ball away the ball three times which killed them on the scoreboard. Hawaii managed 261 yards with a 6-18 performance on third down. The Warriors struggled on the ground with Steven Lakalaka and Ikaika Woolsey combining for 127 yards on 42 carries while Woolsey went 12-27 for 117 yards through the air with a pair of touchdowns and an interception. Scott Harding paced the Hawaii receivers with four catches for 67 yards and both TD's.
Hawaii has struggled away from home so this is a solid opportunity to pick up a win. Having said that I believe Wyoming is a tough squad and I'll take the points...
